How to Shave an Amazing Bikini Line and Use Stencils for Pubic Hair Designs

Whether you prefer to have your pubic area shaved completely, trimmed, or designed, there are many techniques out there to help give the look you want. In the realm of bikini lines there can be a problem with ingrown hairs, razor burn and horrible rashes, along with shaving too much or not shaving enough, the razor slipping out of your hand and the occasional cut. Using a personal trimmer can not only eliminate those painful issues, but also ensures an easier time making the bikini line you want.

Most bikini lines are shaving the area that would be showing when wearing bathing suit, as some do not want to shave the whole area. Using a personal trimmer is a dry shave and should be done before a shower, and you can take your time and avoid the slippage in a wet shower. Put some baby or talc powder in the area you will be trimming to keep it dry. You can put the bottom on that you will be wearing and trim the hair on the outside of that covered area. Take off the bottom and trim just a little bit more to ensure that any movement of the garment won’t expose any hair. After the trimming is finished, put a little more powder to the trimmed area. Using a personal shaver will take all the stubble down to smooth skin, but leave the longer, untrimmed hairs the length you want them.

Using stencils is a great way to surprise your lover and have fun with pubic hair. There are stencils included with personal shaver kits, or you can make your own designs. With the kits, the stencils have a light adhesive to keep it in place while using it. The hair length that will be shaped should be no longer than 1 inch and no shorter than 1/4 inch. To trim the hair this to size, use a pair of scissors. Make sure your hair and skin are dry and place the stencil on the pubic mound in the place you want the shape. Sprinkle a little powder in the area you will be trimming, and using a personal trimmer, trim around the stencil. You can either just trim an inch or two around the stencil or all the hair around the stencil. After trimming is finished, use a little more powder and use the personal shaver to take the stubble down to smooth skin. After you are finished, comb the new shape and make sure the hair is the length you want it. As personal shavers are only made to cut stubble, not long hair, you can keep the area around the shape nice and smooth with daily upkeep with the personal shaver.
